Changing light bulb?

How do you change the light bulb on the Model C stove?

Take the two screws out that hold the chrome plate and glass. Then, if it's the original style bulb, take out a loan because a replacement costs about $30.00.

If I recall correctly, recently there was a post that Ace hardware has started carrying a Lumiline bulb that is the exact replacement for the Model C. Do a search for the post and check it out.

I checked out my local hardware store and yes indeed they are carrying two sizes of Luminline bulbs.

I can't imagine what use these things have other than for Chambers stoves. I asked the hardware guy and he wasn't sure either.

They go for about 22 bucks.
